How do I create a link to a specific outline, department, or faculty?

Creating a Link to an Outline

If you are looking to share a copy of your outline somewhere – a website, an email, or even as part of your CV – we recommend sharing a link to it. As long as your outline is open to the “General Public,” you can share it with anyone you want!

It is very simple: from your dashboard or the Course Outline Library, click on the “View” button on your outline. This will open the web version. The "View" button highlighted on an outline.

Once you’re in the web view, you can simply copy the link and paste it wherever you want to share it. The link will be long and unwieldy, but you can insert it into other words as a hyperlink as you would any other link.

Creating a Link to a Department or Faculty

If you are looking to share links to all the outlines available in a specific department or faculty, you can do that from the Course Outline Library. Once you’re in the library, use the red faculty boxes to select the faculty you want to share.

If you’re happy sharing the whole faculty, you can copy the link at the top and use that. Like with the links to specific outlines, it will look unwieldy, but you can insert it into other text if you so choose. People who use the link will see the screen shown in the picture below.
